Who are the doctors on FlashMD?
FlashMD doctors are U.S. board certified, state-licensed doctors who are trained telehealth experts. Our doctors are assigned to individual consultations based on the state in which members reside. Visit About Our Doctors to learn more.
Who can use FlashMD?
Our members must:
- -Be at least 18 years old or have a parent / legal guardian present
- -Provide a legitimate email address
- -Possess a valid credit or debit card for payment processing
How does FlashMD maintain my medical records?
All members complete a comprehensive medical history profile upon registration, that FlashMD doctors update after each consultation. Members have access to their private medical records, including all consultations and notes, and the records can be forwarded to a primary care physician.
When should I use FlashMD?
FlashMD doctors are available for detailed consultations to diagnose common (non-emergency) conditions and develop treatment plans, which may include prescription medication.
If you are experiencing any kind of medical emergency, please call 911 immediately.
You can also use FlashMD if your primary physician is not available, prescription refills*, routine medical care during normal or off-business hours, or while traveling.

Is FlashMD safe and private?
Yes, maintaining our member’s private health information is a top priority. All FlashMD audio/video communication is securely encrypted with FIPS 140-2 certified 256-bit AES encryption, and transmitted from point-to-point to ensure HIPAA-compliance. What is the cost to use FlashMD?
If you are receiving FlashMD as part of a group benefit, you may not be required to pay at all. To learn more about FlashMD for organizations, please click here.
As an individual member, you will be charged for your monthly membership fee upon registration, and all recurring fees processed on the first of each following month. FlashMD accepts most major credit and debit cards.
